Introducing new skills and challenges…
The bi-lingual Circus Playtime Workshops take place after “SHOWTIME” and are tailored to each age group and size. They introduce fun new skills which become building blocks for personal and group growth. Interactive activities and games allow children to express emotions out of context and provide for a cathartic release of pent up emotions in a safe and fun space. Most importantly, they give kids permission to be kids again – to play and to have to have fun. Clowning, Juggling, Balancing and Magic lessons stimulate imaginations, boost confidence, promote positive self esteem and nurture group cooperation, communication and trust. They empower kids with an, “If I can do that, I can do ANYTHING!” attitude.
Using basic English (colors, numbers, animals, etc) in conjunction with fun new activities and challenges is a great way to introduce young kids to the language and it provides positive fun reinforcement for older kids who have already started English lessons in school.
Circus Playtime Workshop Kits (including scarves, feathers etc) can be left with each school to be used in between Smile Ambassadors’ visits.
