PROGRAMS
The Smile Ambassadors Programs reach out to groups of affected children of all ages through a highly interactive magical musical circus extravaganza. The Programs have proven to be beneficial not only to the affected children but also to their families, their care givers and, in turn, their communities.
The “SHOWTIME” program creates smiles, laughter and joy, the “CIRCUS PLAYTIME” program lets kids be kids again and teaches empowering skills like juggling, hula-hooping and magic. The “FOLLOW UP” program maintains a commitment to promoting stable and long term psychosocial health. The Programs reach all age groups in all disaster affected regions and have been proven beneficial to not only the families and care givers but to the relief support staff and volunteers. To date the Niko-Niko Taishi has interacted with almost 8,000 kids in the hardest hit spots of the disaster zone. Their laughter promotes healing and growth and their ”If I can do that, I can do ANYTHING!” attitude helps set a foundation for them to re-build their lives.
It’s no secret that smiling can be contagious. The simple act of smiling can make others around you smile and in turn have a profound effect on the energy around you. This is the basic premise of the Smile Ambassadors Programs and it can be applied in anyone’s daily life with instant results.
